It always starts the same way: in a street, a mall or a coffee shop, Matt and Arsene say hi to a girl they don't know.

 

And from there anything can happen.

This blog is a selection of short stories based on the unexpected adventures that came as a result of talking to strangers.

 

Of course as part of telling the stories we sometimes need to include descriptions of the situations and people we meet. We do this while keeping things as anonymous and unspecific as possible: we may give away a few details as long as they’re not enough to identify the person we’re talking about. A bit of discretion never harms.

 

We also use a language that sometimes seems geeky, that’s because we spent way too much time listening to specialised podcasts for inspiration… 

 

Some of these stories were good experiences others not so good. We think it is worth writing when things didn’t go as expected, something quirky happened or simply because we cried laughing while telling the story to each other. This last point is probably the main reason why a story made it to the blog -and the associated book.
